The Office of the Vice Chancellor & Provost
The Office of Academic Affairs is headed by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Provost of the University. The office is responsible for all aspects of the academic mission of the University, ranging from the admission of students to the administration of the schools and colleges, including the undergraduate and graduate degree programs and the research activities of faculty members. Some of the particular responsibilities of the office are the oversight of the academic budgets, the appointment of faculty members, the University library and academic computing, space planning and the graduate school.

Mary Ann Shaw Center for Public & Community Service (CPCS)
CPCS operates under the direction of Pamela Heintz. The mission of this Center is to promote, support, facilitate, and recognize public and community service as a fundamental part of the teaching and learning experience for students, faculty, and staff.

Enrollment Management
Enrollment Management under the direction of Vice President Donald Saleh, is comprised of eight units: the Office of Admissions, the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarship Programs, the Office of Enrollment Management Research, Graduate Enrollment Management, Air Force ROTC, Army ROTC, SU Abroad, and the Office of the Registrar. The primary responsibility of this division is to provide comprehensive enrollment management and financial aid services to the University, from recruitment through ongoing enrollment of students.

Graduate School
The
Graduate School, under Vice President Ben Ware, oversees all graduate degree programs at the University, except for the LLD, which is administered by the College of Law. The Graduate School administers graduate scholarships, fellowships and teaching assistantships, and the Future Professorate Project

Information Technology and Services (ITS)
Information Technology and Services, under the direction of Vice President and CIO Chris Sedore, provides students, faculty, and staff with technology resources that support the University's mission of promoting learning through teaching, research, scholarship, creative accomplishment and service.  ITS works in partnership with the technology departments located within SU's schools, colleges and administrative divisions.  This multidisciplinary collaboration among SU's information technology community is nurtured and coordinated through the Technology Leadership Committee (TLC).

Office of the Associate Provost for Academic Programs
Associate Provost Sandra Hurd oversees the following academic units:

These departments work to promote and strengthen undergraduate curricula, instruction, and advising and to encourage collaboration and cooperation among units in the development of innovative inter-disciplinary, inter-college, and all University Programs.

Office of Research
Under the direction of 
Vice President Ben Ware, the Office of Research is responsible for the articulation and implementation of all university policies regarding scholarly inquiry, sponsored programs, and intellectual property. In addition, it is responsible for the development of research and research funding, for the administration of grants, for the negotiation of research contracts, and for the management of the intellectual property that may be created in the scholarly activity of members of the University community.

Syracuse University consists of 11 schools and colleges offering a wide range of degree opportunities. In addition, University College meets the needs of all SU students during the summer and part-time students during the fall and spring terms. Syracuse University Press
Syracuse University Press, directed by Suzanne Thorin, publishes about 70 books a year in pursuit of its mission to serve the world of scholarship and culture. While the majority of its titles are scholarly and academic, the press also publishes texts, trade books, and reference titles.

University Art Collection
Dr. Alfred Collette is Director of the
Syracuse University Art Collection. The Art Collection is the primary repository for art on the Syracuse University campus serving, educating, and enriching the lives of the students, faculty, staff, alumni, the local community, and visitors to the campus through the acquisition, preservation and interpretation of the visual arts. The mission of the University Art Collection is to enhance the cultural environment of the University community through unique educational experiences and encounters with the resources of the Art Collection.

University Library
Suzanne Thorin, University Librarian and Dean of Libraries, oversees a fully automated and user-friendly library system. The
Syracuse University library system consists of E. S. Bird Library, as well as libraries for science and technology, mathematics, geology, and physics.
