Graduate Enrollment Management coordinates and supports graduate recruitment and admissions, merit-based financial aid, and the certification of degrees across the schools and colleges of the University (with the exception of the College of Law). Under the leadership of Don Saleh, Vice President for Enrollment Management, this office advises the academic deans on developing and pursuing graduate enrollment goals. It also works in partnership with the dean and staff of the Graduate School to develop and maintain policies affecting graduate affairs. Together, these offices conduct the activities of the Graduate Council, a group of leaders representing the schools and colleges, as well as selected administrative offices, that plays an important advisory role in policy development.

Also operating under the auspices of Graduate Enrollment Management is the Admissions Processing Center, which provides inquiry and application processing services not only for graduate programs across the University, but for the undergraduate Admissions Office and SU Abroad

Air Force ROTC

Integrity – Service – Excellence

Lieutenant Colonel    Ray Bowen

The Air Force ROTC, Detachment 535 at Syracuse University offers outstanding young students a chance to develop leadership skills in an environment that no other college course, sport, or activity provides in a single organization. The Air Force ROTC not only prepares these students for a successful career in the military, it also prepares them for success in life. Air Force ROTC enables full-time college students to pursue their personal, degree program while earning an officer's commission into the active duty Air Force. Among other great benefits upon degree completion, students will have a guaranteed job as a 2nd Lieutenant and the satisfaction of serving their country. Please click here for further information.

Army ROTC

Leadership, Excellence

Lieutenant Colonel Susan Hardwick
Lieutenant Colonel Susan Hardwick

Army ROTC produces 75% of the army's officers, so it is first and foremost a commissioning program. The stated mission of ROTC is to commission the future officer leadership of the US Army and motivate young people to be better citizens. Army ROTC is a college elective you can try out for up to two years with no obligation. And since classes only take an average of 5 hours a week, you have plenty of time for other courses, activities, and a social life.
