The Tutoring & Study Center provides tutoring, workshops, and academic assistance.  Tutoring is available for courses numbered 350 and lower.

We provide academic tutors for students seeking to do better in their courses. We collaborate with the deans and faculty of the schools and colleges to find the best graduate and undergraduate tutors, and then we train those tutors to work effectively with individual students and in small groups. Upon request, we provide workshops on topics such as time management, test-taking, and study strategies.

Get A Tutor

Looking to do well this term? We provide research-based tutorial support in content and learning strategies, and advanced assistance in many undergraduate and graduate courses. To request a tutor, fill out an on-line tutor request form or pick one up at the TSC. Once you turn in your request, we will match you to a tutor immediately; if we do not have a tutor for your requested course, we will begin a search to fill your needs as soon as possible.

Be A Tutor

We accept tutor applications year-round. Employment is contingent upon student requests for the course; hourly pay is based on Graduate or Undergraduate status. You will arrange your schedule in collaboration with assigned students. Tutoring experience is preferred and training is highly recommended; tutor orientation is mandatory. Please stop by the Tutoring & Study Center if you are interested. We are located in Suite 220, above the Henry Health Center at 111 Waverly Avenue.
